Cecilia Duncan leads the Daisy Midwifery team with expertise, grace, and compassion. Cecilia’s diverse experiences working with infants, young children and families laid the foundation for her ever-growing interest in human development from preconception to postpartum.
Cecilia holds a Bachelors degree from Columbia University and a Masters of Science in Midwifery from Bastyr University. Additionally, Cecilia became a DONA trained Birth doula (2009), ICEA trained childbirth educator (2017), CAPPA trained postpartum doula (2019), Newborn Care Academy trained newborn care specialist (2020), and Nationally Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician (2020). Furthermore, Cecilia has earned an advanced certificate in Child Development, CPR, and First Aid certification at the healthcare provider level, neonatal resuscitation certification, California Certified Nursing Assistant licensure, and national certification as a licensed phlebotomist. She is also a California TrustLine registrant.
Cecilia has worked with young children and families in a professional capacity since 2000. Her long-standing career has offered her the opportunity to provide care in a wide variety of settings. Cecilia has more than 10 years of experience working with a variety of families including travel both internationally and domestically.
Cecilia is ready to rise to new challenges; problem solves complex and time-sensitive issues. Her attention to detail keeps her up to date and able to carry many tasks at once. She is eager to bring her skill set, knowledge base, and unique flair to your family as a care provider.

Christina Dupree

A mother herself, Christina is passionate about supporting new parents and babies to ensure they have an exceptional experience during the postpartum period. Her career has included work as a Behavioral Interventionist in middle and high schools, where she also provided postpartum emotional support to new mothers. Christina holds certifications as a Newborn Care Specialist, CAPPA Postpartum Doula, and Birth Doula.


Claudia Martinez
Certified Postpartum Doula + Newborn Care Specialist
Claudia is an energetic and experienced care provider with vast training in the child development field. Having supported dozens of families in the Los Angeles area for over 25 years, Claudia is a true professional with an impressive list of former clients who actively recommend her and stand by her work. Her experience, both as a mother and as childcare professional, gives her the skills and knowledge to bring peace of mind to new families - helping them recover physically, mentally and emotionally.
In addition to her certifications as a Postpartum Doula and Newborn Care Specialist, Claudia has also completed Baby Nurse and Doula Services Advanced Training, Lactation Educator Training, SIDS – Reducing the Risk, Twin Care, Calming & Soothing Baby Techniques among others. Claudia extensive network has been built based on trust and excellent performance. She’s always looking forward to working with newborn babies and their families because there’s nothing more magical than being part of new life.
Anya Monroe

Anya provides a wide range of services to families, including newborn care, feeding, sleep support, sibling adjustment, and household assistance. She fosters an environment of calm and reassurance while deeply valuing the emotional well-being of parents. Through compassionate listening, evidence-based practices, and gentle guidance, Anya helps empower parents to navigate the challenges of early parenthood with confidence and joy.
She is CPR-certified and holds dual certifications in postpartum care and newborn care, with a commitment to ongoing education and professional development. As the oldest of five siblings, Anya’s early experiences have shaped her natural ability to offer stability, emotional support, and tailored care to families during the transformative early stages of parenthood.


Veronica Preston
Certified Postpartum Doula + Lactation Counselor
Veronica provides personalized, compassionate care to families, including lactation support, postpartum recovery guidance, and emotional support, helping parents feel confident and reassured during the transformative early days with a newborn.
As a mother and grandmother, her personal experiences have enriched her understanding and passion for supporting families through the life-changing journey of parenthood. With a background as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and a 12-year career as a bus driver for King County Metro, Veronica has honed her skills in empathy, patience, and understanding. Veronica's caregiving journey began early, caring for her younger brother and assisting her grandmother, which instilled a deep commitment to nurturing growing families.
